We will pick you up at Minangkabau
International Airport , and take you straight to Star
Ocean Boat. For safety, we don't travel at night so
please arrange flights that suit you if you wish to
travel on the same day.

Transportation
Headed to Mentawai with Star Ocean Boat,
it will take more or less 4 hours depending on sea conditions.
Once we get there, surfers can have some rest and we
will take you to the waves on the next day in the morning.

We supply 24 cans cold beer per day,
mineral water, and snacks on board.
Food
Local Food lunch such as fried rice,
fried noodle, etc
Accommodation
Accommodation is located in Tuapejat,
Sipora, Mentawai. It's called "Hotel Bintang",it's
more less 100 mtrs distance from boat. Hotel Bintang
is not a luxury hotel, but nice clean and tidy. It's
famous among surfers.

The
Ferry
The Ambu Ambu Ferry is considered the most comfortable,
economical and reliable means of public transport between
Padang and the Mentawai Islands chain. It’s now
departing on week III and week IV to Tuapejat Sipora,
and have found it to be very reliable. It is comfortable,
stable offering a smoot ride and offers very comfortable
sleeping quarters for VIP guests on the third deck that
can be booked in advance.
Ambu Ambu Ferry has 2 main engines, 2 auxiliary
engines and 21 certified crew. 3 quad share and 5 twin
share air-conditioned cabins are available for hire
on the third deck and an additional air – conditioned
VIP lounge sleeps another 60 guests in comfortable reclining
chairs, also with a canteen on the main deck serving
cold beer, hot and cold beverages and a variety of snacks.
Guests using Ambu Ambu Ferry for transport between Padang
and Hotel Bintang Tuapejat, have the option of booking
either 8 days/ 9 nights or 15 days / 16 nights (including
2 nights ferry).

to Ambu Ambu Ferry.
Accommodation is located in Tuapejat
Sipora Mentawai.
It's called "Hotel Bintang",it's more less

Hotel Bintang is not a luxury hotel, but nice clean
and tidy.
It's famous among surfers. It’s already included
overnite hotel in Padang if you have to spend one more
day according to ferry schedule.
Food
3 meals served daily at Hotel Bintang. We also serve
menu as request.
Land Guide
Sonny, our local guide
will be your buddy along the journey. Our helpful guide
will do whatever he can to ensure that you have a great
time in Mentawai.
